Associate International Corporate Tax – Financial Services

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking an Associate in International Corporate Tax for its Financial Services practice. You will support tax advisory and compliance for asset managers, banks and insurers, helping clients navigate complex cross‑border transactions and regulatory changes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist managers in delivering tax advice on client structures, M&A transactions, reorganisations and new product launches.
• Conduct technical tax research on Luxembourg and cross‑border operations, collaborating with network colleagues.
• Work with Audit and Advisory teams to address tax aspects of client transactions.
• Coordinate with PwC offices worldwide to support multinational clients.
• Monitor international tax legislation and assess its impact on client activities.
• Collaborate with VAT, PTX and TP teams to provide tax opinions.
• Perform tax due diligence for acquisitions or disposals and support advisory teams during the process.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in tax law, business law or economics (or equivalent).
• Strong interest in international corporate taxation; any prior experience is a plus.
• Curious, eager to learn and able to work in a team environment.
• Fluent in English and French; German is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
