Associate Director / Director – Client Services

About the role

The Associate Director/Director will act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of high‑value clients within Altum Group. You will deliver exceptional client service, provide strategic and technical accounting guidance, and ensure adherence to corporate governance and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management team in delivering divisional strategy and business targets.
• Provide technical accounting and financial reporting guidance to team accountants.
• Serve as the relationship manager for client entities, ensuring compliance with corporate governance, AML and other policies.
• Act as a board member for client entities, offering independent strategic advice and challenging where appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to improve gross profit, review client revenues and propose new billing products.
• Oversee time‑recording accuracy, work‑in‑progress reviews and timely fee collection.
• Drive change and efficiency initiatives across divisions and jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Strong people‑management and leadership abilities.
• Deep knowledge of corporate governance, compliance and anti‑money‑laundering requirements.
• Ability to provide strategic guidance while maintaining prudent risk controls.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on business development and client retention.
