Assistant Relationship Manager – Private Banking

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports Relationship Managers and Group Heads in the Greater Region Luxembourg team of Julius Baer Private Banking. The role ensures high‑quality client service, assists in prospecting activities, and contributes to continuous improvement of processes while upholding the bank’s values of Care, Passion and Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers (RM) and Relationship Manager Assistants (RMA) in daily client servicing, including proactive communication, participation in client meetings, calls and business trips.
• Support prospecting activities such as market research, event organisation, contact management and participation in events.
• Participate in graduate trainings and local learning tours across relevant departments in Luxembourg to acquire knowledge of Julius Baer’s product offering and research publications.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal policies in client documentation, new account openings, payment instructions and other processes.
• Collect, organise and exchange information required for business operations, maintain accurate records and support RM/Team Head in project implementation.
• Manage expense claim processes for Relationship Managers and Team Heads.
• Identify and raise risk‑related concerns, follow up on issues and escalate when necessary to support the first line of defence.
