Application Management Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Application Management Specialist to join a leading financial institution in Luxembourg on a contract basis. The successful candidate will ensure the GP4 fund accounting system runs smoothly, supports business validation, and leads recovery activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the performance of the GP4 Fund Accounting System in line with business needs.
• Work closely with IT infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Execute Point‑in‑Time Recovery (PITR) procedures and meet RPO/RTO targets.
• Restore applications and databases from backups, validate data integrity, and reconcile missing or duplicate transactions.
• Collaborate with business users to verify restored data, assist with manual reconstruction, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Document and continuously improve recovery processes, ensuring alignment with business continuity standards.
• Act as the technical point of contact during recovery events, coordinating with internal stakeholders and infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar application management or recovery role.
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting systems, specifically GP4.
• Proven expertise in backup, recovery, and Point‑in‑Time Recovery operations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both IT and business teams.
• Fluent English.
