AML/KYC Manager – Investor & Client Onboarding

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AML/KYC Manager to lead the onboarding of investors and clients for a fast‑growing international financial services organisation based in Luxembourg. You will own the end‑to‑end compliance process, ensuring that all due‑diligence activities meet local AML/CFT standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full onboarding cycle for clients and investors, from document collection to final approval.
• Review and validate customer due‑diligence documentation in line with Luxembourg AML/CFT requirements.
• Analyse risk profiles, apply enhanced measures for higher‑risk relationships, and maintain accurate AML/KYC records.
• Conduct ongoing screening for sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEP) and adverse media.
• Serve as the primary AML/KYC contact for internal teams, clients and investors.
• Support continuous improvement of AML/KYC processes, reporting tools and internal controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist with the implementation of new compliance requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of AML/KYC experience within the Luxembourg financial services sector.
• Background in fund administration, transfer agency, management company, fiduciary, bank or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of the Luxembourg AML/CFT framework and risk‑based due‑diligence practices.
• Hands‑on experience managing client and investor onboarding.
• Fluent English; French is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using AML screening solutions.
• Familiarity with fund administration platforms.
