Alteryx Consultant – Automation & Data Integration

About the role

MTM Partners is seeking an experienced Alteryx Consultant to join a client’s IT team in Luxembourg. You will work at the intersection of IT and business operations, turning manual, spreadsheet‑heavy processes into governed, automated workflows that support reporting, operational controls, and process optimisation across finance, risk, and compliance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Alteryx workflows to automate reporting cycles, reconciliations and operational control processes.
• Identify and analyse existing manual processes and translate requirements into scalable Alteryx solutions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams to deliver measurable process improvements.
• Integrate Alteryx workflows with ERP, GL, data warehouses and output to Power BI, Tableau or shared environments.
• Ensure quality, traceability and documentation to meet audit and regulatory requirements.
• Support migration of Excel‑based EUC processes onto the Alteryx platform.
• Act as an internal Alteryx champion, promoting best practices and upskilling business users.

Required profile

• Valid Luxembourg work permit.
• Alteryx Designer Advanced certification (strong plus).
• Proven track record delivering Alteryx automation projects in financial services or insurance.
• Solid understanding of ETL principles, data blending, scheduling and macro development.
• Strong SQL skills; familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate or equivalent tools.
• Experience working with Finance, Audit or Operations teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with rigorous attention to data quality and documentation.
• Fluent in English; French is an asset.
