Aircraft Technician – Line Maintenance (EASA Part 66 CAT B1)

About the role

LuxairAirlines is seeking a qualified Aircraft Technician to join its Line Maintenance department. You will be responsible for performing, signing‑off, and releasing aircraft maintenance tasks in compliance with EASA Part 66 and Part 145 regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and release aircraft maintenance according to company privileges and EASA limits.
• Diagnose technical defects, determine root causes, and apply approved maintenance data.
• Provide regular progress updates, report discovered defects, and communicate delays or cancellations to the Team Leader.
• Complete Work Orders with required information and perform single‑check control; conduct double control for critical tasks.
• Raise deficiency reports and give technical advice to Maintenance Coordinators when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure tools are complete and functional.
• Offer on‑demand support to other departments after receiving proper instruction or training.

Required profile

• Current EASA Part 66 CAT B1 Certifying Staff.
• Proven aviation experience with the last two EASA Part 145 competence assessments completed.
• Willingness to work in a team, on irregular shifts, and travel for duty.
• Strong communication skills in English and either French or German (spoken and written).
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures for Luxair’s fleet.
• Good organizational abilities, priority management, and independent work capability.
• Commitment to confidentiality and completion of mandatory training.
