AI and Security Engineer

About the role

Join Fujitsu’s European research initiative to design and develop cutting‑edge software components that blend artificial intelligence with security technologies. You will work across the full development lifecycle and collaborate with international partners to deliver shared technical outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software components using Python, Java, JavaScript or Flutter.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs for secure data exchange.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and ensure robust design.
• Collaborate with cross‑border research teams and produce technical deliverables.
• Apply data‑privacy principles and cryptographic primitives such as digital signatures, trusted timestamping and audit‑trail generation.

Required profile

• Solid experience in software development with the listed languages.
• Strong understanding of AI, NLP and large‑language‑model (LLM) technologies, including RAG pipelines, agentic AI and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of data‑privacy regulations and cryptographic techniques.
• Organised, proactive and able to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Capable of working independently while managing multiple concurrent tasks.
