Adaptive Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Facility Technician

About the role

The Adaptive Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Facility Technician will support the maintenance and repair operations of NSPA’s facilities, ensuring engineering documentation is correctly interpreted and applied. The role combines technical work with project leadership, training, and continuous skill development.

Key responsibilities

• Read, translate and apply engineering documentation and procedures for assigned tasks.
• Lead and manage projects, including costing and resource planning.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to NSPA or customer personnel.
• Collaborate within a cohesive team to achieve defined processes and tasks efficiently.
• Maintain personal proficiency and stay current with technological advancements.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with at least 3 years post‑related experience (or secondary education with 5 years experience).
• Strong organisational abilities and leadership potential.
• Ability to train others and work effectively in a team.
• Interest in continuous professional development.
• Sound digital literacy and experience with office automation systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
