Accounting Manager – Private Equity (Luxembourg)

About the role

Join a dynamic Italian AIFM operating out of Luxembourg and take charge of accounting for a portfolio of private‑equity investment structures. You will work closely with senior leadership, enjoy broad exposure to the finance function, and have a direct impact on the business’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SOPARFIs, holdings and private‑equity structures.
• Review annual accounts prepared under Lux GAAP.
• Oversee VAT and corporate‑tax compliance together with external advisors.
• Supervise and mentor a team of two accountants.
• Serve as the main contact for auditors, banks and service providers.
• Monitor cash positions and support treasury‑related activities.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with the Conducting Officer on finance, governance and regulatory projects.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the Luxembourg platform.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of accounting/management experience in Luxembourg.
• Strong background with private‑equity structures, SOPARFIs and holdings.
• Previous experience in an AIFM, fund administrator, fiduciary, PFS or corporate services provider.
• Experience reviewing work or supervising colleagues is a plus.
• Fluent French and professional English.
• Autonomous, proactive and eager to develop management skills.
