Vice President Investment Counselor – Central & Northern Europe

About the role

Citi Private Bank is seeking a Vice President Investment Counselor to join its Luxembourg team, focusing on the Central and Northern Europe market. You will work closely with private bankers to deliver tailored investment solutions to ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients and family offices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage investment relationships with clients holding $25M+ in assets under management.
• Advise on asset allocation across traditional (liquid) and alternative (illiquid) asset classes.
• Collaborate with coverage teams, investment specialists, risk, and compliance partners to execute investment ideas.
• Execute brokerage activity and trade orders efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to MiFID, AIFMD, and Citi’s compliance policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals or family offices.
• Strong understanding of both traditional and alternative investment products.
• Ability to build trust‑based relationships and generate new business.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach across internal partners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of MiFID and AIFMD regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with multi‑jurisdictional investment solutions.
• Risk assessment and compliance awareness.
