UX/UI Designer – Long‑Term Contract (On‑site, Luxembourg)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join a multidisciplinary team in Luxembourg on a long‑term freelance basis. You will be responsible for creating user‑centred, accessible interfaces for complex, mission‑critical IT applications and will work closely with engineering and product stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design clean, intuitive user interfaces for large‑scale IT systems.
• Develop, analyse and enhance Angular.js (or similar) front‑end components.
• Conduct usability testing and translate findings into design improvements.
• Apply user‑centred design methods across research, information architecture, prototyping and validation.
• Define UX strategies and align stakeholders around design direction.
• Produce clear documentation, reports and design specifications.
• Collaborate independently with engineering teams while ensuring design consistency.

Required profile

• 12+ years of professional IT experience.
• 10+ years in UX design covering research, personas, IA, UI, usability, accessibility and responsive design.
• 10+ years building graphical user interfaces for IT applications.
• Strong JavaScript front‑end expertise.
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket version‑control workflows.
• Excellent written communication and ability to work autonomously.
