Transport & Logistics Expert – Business and Investment Climate Reforms

About the role

NTU International is assembling a pool of senior Transport & Logistics experts to support the GIZ Global Gateway Investment Climate Reform (ICR) Facility. The pool will be tapped for assignments that help partner countries improve transport systems, remove bottlenecks, and design investment‑friendly policies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify infrastructure and regulatory bottlenecks in transport and logistics networks.
• Advise governments on policies that enhance trade corridors and cross‑border connectivity.
• Contribute to the design of transport‑related investment strategies within broader climate‑reform programmes.
• Support the development of demand‑driven technical assistance packages for public sector stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in transport, logistics, economics or a related discipline.
• At least 9 years of experience providing economic policy advice to governments.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in business and investment climate reforms.
• 3‑5 years of direct experience in transport and logistics.
• 5 years of work on development‑cooperation projects.
• Fluent English (C1); French or Spanish (C1) is a plus.
