Technical Purchaser

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Purchaser to manage the procurement of standard and special technical components, working closely with the design department to ensure specifications meet engineering requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase standard and special technical parts, handling the full procurement cycle.
• Clarify technical issues, develop requirement profiles and create specifications in collaboration with designers.
• Obtain quotations, conduct benchmarks and prepare decision‑making models.
• Organise and lead supplier meetings.
• Plan and implement engineering change projects.
• Support component standardisation and manage identical parts.
• Handle complaints and support strategic purchasing initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed technical studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
• Fast technical comprehension and an entrepreneurial, results‑driven attitude.
• Proficiency in German or French and very good English skills.
• Team spirit, flexibility, assertiveness and eagerness to learn.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of mechanics, dynamics, electrics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Good CAD abilities; SolidWorks experience is a plus.
