Technical Architect – Digital Procurement

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a senior Technical Architect to lead the design and evolution of its Digital Procurement capabilities. You will shape end‑to‑end architecture, ensure scalability and security, and align solutions with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and safeguard the end‑to‑end architecture of Digital Procurement, driving scalable innovation and reducing structural risk.
• Own and evolve the architecture blueprint across platforms, AI, and data ecosystems.
• Provide independent design authority for major technical decisions, ensuring compliance with enterprise strategy and security standards.
• Champion simplicity and reuse through scalable design patterns and integration principles.
• Mitigate vendor and structural dependency risk via documentation, knowledge governance, and technical oversight.
• Represent Digital Procurement in architecture governance forums, influencing cross‑functional and market decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing scalable, secure technical architectures.
• Strong integration expertise across cloud platforms, APIs, and data ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Track record of balancing innovation with operational stability and reducing structural complexity.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Architecture certification desirable (e.g., TOGAF).
