Tax Compliance Manager

About the role

EY is looking for a Tax Compliance Manager to work closely with its Tax teams and deliver high-quality tax compliance and reporting services to a diverse client portfolio. The role supports clients in navigating complex Luxembourg and international tax requirements while helping to improve and digitize tax compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, monitor and track filing obligations and handle electronic filing
• Analyze financial data, support IT-enabled tax reporting and review tax assessments and advance payments
• Advise clients on tax payments, prepare and review year-end tax provisions, and support tax risk analysis and advisory assignments, including deferred taxes under IFRS and US GAAP
• Contribute to project management and the digitalization of tax compliance processes
• Assist in preparing proposals, Tax Club events and marketing materials
• Coach and support junior team members
• Gain exposure to financial services clients, especially Alternative Investment Funds (Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Funds), as well as multinational and mid-market companies

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent certification in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Tax, Accounting or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Tax Compliance and Reporting in a similar position
• Experience leading and coaching junior team members
• Fluent English; fluency in French or German is an advantage

Required skills

• Knowledge of Luxembourg and international accounting principles (IFRS / US GAAP)
• Comfortable working with detailed financial information in an international environment
• Ideally: proven interpersonal skills, excellent writing, communication and presentation skills, and experience leading a team
