Tax Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Associate to join our Luxembourg Tax team within Ashurst Perkins Coie. You will work in a close‑knit, human‑sized group, receiving direct mentorship and immediate responsibility on both domestic and cross‑border tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise domestic and international clients on a wide range of tax‑related issues.
• Provide tailored tax advice for specific transactions.
• Draft tax memoranda, opinions and review agreements from a Luxembourg tax perspective.
• Conduct legal research on Luxembourg and international tax matters.
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls with colleagues across jurisdictions.
• Contribute to department knowledge‑sharing and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law, preferably with a specialization in tax law.
• Admission to the Luxembourg Bar or preparation for a Bar in any European jurisdiction.
• 2‑4 years of experience in domestic and international taxation within a law or audit firm in Luxembourg.
• Fluency in English and French; additional languages such as German are a plus.
• Commercial mindset, team‑player attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
