Supply Chain & Procurement Buyer – Africa Levante (8‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

As a Supply Chain & General Procurement Buyer for the Africa Levante region, you will help Ferrero secure the goods, materials and services that keep the business moving. Based in Luxembourg on an eight‑month fixed‑term contract, you will balance quality, cost and continuity of supply across multiple categories.

Key responsibilities

• Support the procurement strategy for assigned categories, aligning purchasing decisions with business needs and budgets.
• Define and enforce quality, legal, environmental and ethical standards for goods and services.
• Conduct sourcing activities from market scouting to RFP issuance, offer analysis and supplier negotiations.
• Create fair competition, select optimal solutions and manage purchase orders in line with Ferrero policies and Code of Business Conduct.
• Strengthen supplier relationships to ensure continuity, service quality and reliability.
• Monitor performance indicators, support claims, apply contract standards locally and ensure accurate, on‑time payments.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of procurement experience with the ability to analyse offers and support purchasing decisions.
• Fluent English communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience using SAP tools such as Ariba and S/4HANA.
• Alignment with Ferrero’s values, ethics and commitment to quality.
