Senior Technician System Administrator

About the role

The Senior Technician System Administrator will lead the design, deployment and maintenance of NSPA's complex IT infrastructure. This position ensures high availability, security and performance of critical systems supporting NATO operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server 2019 environments, including Hyper‑V virtualization and clustering.
• Administer SharePoint Server and SQL Server Enterprise with Always‑On high‑availability features.
• Implement patch and vulnerability management processes using industry‑standard tools.
• Maintain networking components and enforce security frameworks.
• Design, deploy and optimise cloud‑based solutions.
• Develop and maintain batch scripts and PowerShell automation for system administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field with additional IS‑oriented education.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations and server administration.
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural, multinational environment.
