Senior Sales Director – Private Markets

About the role

Sonata One is seeking a senior, network‑led commercial professional to drive new‑logo acquisition across the global private markets ecosystem. The role focuses on top‑tier General Partners while also covering private credit platforms, real‑asset managers, venture capital firms, secondaries investors, and fund‑of‑funds.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage senior decision‑makers across fund managers, institutional investors, and service providers.
• Act as a strategic hunter, leveraging an existing network to sell next‑generation infrastructure solutions.
• Shape adoption of standardized, efficient, and liquid private‑market infrastructure.
• Close deals with both economic buyers (CFOs, Group Financial Controllers) and technical buyers (Fund Operations, Finance Transformation leaders).
• Maintain and expand relationships with senior stakeholders throughout the private‑markets ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven track record selling into private‑market ecosystems, including General Partners, mid‑market and emerging managers, secondaries platforms, fund‑of‑funds, and institutional investors.
• Established network with senior stakeholders and demonstrable access to decision‑makers.
• Ability to engage both technical and economic buyers and close complex sales cycles.
