Senior Risk Analyst - Credit Risk Modelling (m/f/d)

About the role

Riverty, a payment platform enabling flexible payments for brands and helping people repay debt, is looking for a Senior Risk Analyst - Credit Risk Modelling (m/f/d) to join its Client Underwriting unit in Luxembourg. The role manages end-customer risk for Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and related credit products, and requires knowledge of credit models for consumer products. The position is full-time and unlimited, with flexible working conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage credit risk models for consumer products, supporting their development, validation and optimization
• Analyze credit reference data and internal data sources to identify trends and insights
• Work closely with Risk Management and Data Science teams to develop strategies for credit risk mitigation
• Support reviews and updates of the company's credit policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments so that credit risk practices are understood and implemented

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in FinTech and the European banking environment
• Proven experience developing and implementing credit risk models in retail banking
• Strong knowledge of one or more European markets and the available credit data
• Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Strong English communication skills; German, French or Dutch is an advantage
