Senior Project Manager – STINGER Production

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the STINGER missile production programme, overseeing the full life‑cycle of the weapon system from acquisition through in‑service support to de‑commissioning. The role requires close interaction with NATO partners and multinational stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete life‑cycle of STINGER missile systems, including acquisition, sustainment and disposal.
• Coordinate all project‑management phases across the programme, ensuring schedule, cost and performance targets are met.
• Draft and negotiate technical contractual requirements for acquisition and support activities.
• Implement quality‑assurance policies throughout the acquisition, in‑service and disposal stages.
• Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with NATO standards.

Required profile

• University degree in aerospace, electronics, mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of life‑cycle management experience for weapon systems, preferably in the missile domain.
• Proven experience in all project‑management phases for defence equipment.
• Recognised project‑management certification (e.g., PRINCE2® Practitioner).
• Recognised systems‑engineering certification (e.g., CSEP or equivalent).
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of French is desirable.
