Senior Project Manager

About the role

Quento Technologies, the ICT arm of the Qualco Group, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead COTS software selection and acquisition initiatives. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment that supports digital transformation across AI, Cloud, and Cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end COTS software selection and acquisition projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
• Gather, analyse and document functional, technical, legal, compliance, security and business requirements.
• Conduct global market research, vendor assessments and product evaluations to identify suitable solutions.
• Develop business cases, project plans, feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses and pre‑implementation assessments.
• Coordinate with business analysts, solution architects, technical experts and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage vendor relationships, collect product information, compliance documentation and support negotiations.
• Organise proof‑of‑concepts, prototypes and solution validation activities.
• Liaise with procurement, legal, security, testing, enterprise architecture, accessibility and development teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations and procedural guidelines while maintaining high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience with a proven track record of successful delivery.
• Active PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.
• Strong experience with Waterfall, Agile, Iterative and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Project management techniques and tools: WBS, PBS, Gantt charts, estimation, scope management and resource planning.
• Proficiency with MS Project and OpenProject (or similar portfolio management tools).
• Experience managing COTS software projects.
