Senior Legal Counsel (Luxembourg Experience)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with extensive Luxembourg experience to provide strategic legal guidance across our diverse portfolio. The role involves overseeing legal initiatives, ensuring compliance, and supporting senior stakeholders on complex matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead company‑wide legal projects and advise on strategic decisions.
• Provide expert counsel on corporate structuring and organisational governance.
• Manage the formation, administration, and dissolution of companies and funds in multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, review and evaluate contracts, agreements, memoranda and other legal documents.
• Conduct detailed reviews of private‑equity and real‑estate transaction documentation.
• Coordinate dispute resolution and litigation, including managing external counsel.
• Drive special legal projects as assigned by senior stakeholders.
• Analyse investment documentation for various entities within the group.
• Oversee group‑level trademark affairs to protect intellectual property.
• Interact with regulatory authorities and external parties to ensure compliance.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise senior management.
• Prepare comprehensive reports summarising legal insights for strategic use.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and Russian; French is a plus.
• Law degree with at least 8 years of Luxembourg legal experience.
• CCDL or comparable corporate law qualifications are advantageous.
• Background in corporate law, litigation, private‑equity or real‑estate transactions, preferably from a bank, Big 4, law firm or family office.
• Strong analytical abilities and proactive approach to regulatory monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
