Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

OQ Technology is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and maintain a robust, scalable infrastructure that supports its satellite‑based 5G IoT platform. You will work across identity, device, cloud and network domains to ensure high availability, security and performance for global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including user/group lifecycle, GPOs, DNS, DHCP and trust relationships.
• Implement SSO, MFA and conditional‑access policies; manage privileged and service accounts.
• Configure and monitor Microsoft Intune for Windows and macOS device enrollment, compliance, and application lifecycle.
• Design, deploy and optimise AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM) using IaC tools such as PowerShell, Ansible or Terraform.
• Maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) – firewalls, storage, performance tuning and application deployment.
• Administer virtualised environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) and drive workload migrations to the cloud.
• Manage office networking hardware, VLANs, access points and cabling across multiple sites.
• Monitor system health, manage costs (FinOps) and ensure disaster‑recovery readiness.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, with a focus on cloud and hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD, Microsoft Intune and identity‑access management best practices.
• Proven expertise in AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux system administration and virtualization platforms.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and enterprise‑grade hardware.
