Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Mirabaud is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead audit assignments, provide independent assessments to the Audit & Risk Committee and Board of Directors, and ensure the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit assignments, draft findings and issue high‑quality reports.
• Communicate recommendations and monitor the implementation of management action plans.
• Supervise and coach internal auditors and oversee work performed by third‑party auditors.
• Conduct data‑analytics‑driven reviews, analysing large data sets to extract insights.
• Contribute to the annual audit plan, risk mapping and follow‑up on recommendations.
• Participate in risk‑culture initiatives, risk workshops and governance training.
• Ensure audit work remains aligned with new regulations, system implementations and business transformations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in internal audit, risk assessment and governance.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage third‑party audit engagements.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven audit techniques.
• High ethical standards and commitment to accountability.
• Commercial acumen and awareness of industry regulations.
