Senior Electronics Engineer – Spacecraft & Robotics

About the role

We are expanding our team and are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to support client projects in Luxembourg. You will work on spacecraft platforms and robotics payloads, guiding the electrical subsystem from concept through testing and validation.

Key responsibilities

• Support all phases of the electrical subsystem lifecycle for spacecraft and robotics payloads.
• Define subsystem architectures, including power distribution, sensor layout, and data interfaces.
• Perform requirements engineering, generate technical specifications, and manage supplier selection.
• Develop in‑house electronic boards and define test harness and EGSE requirements.
• Commission, validate, and conduct functional testing of electrical subsystems.
• Analyse test results, troubleshoot issues, and support spacecraft integration.
• Contribute to software development for testing and flight operations.
• Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams, customers, and subcontractors.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of avionics or electronics engineering experience in the space industry.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English; French B2 level is a plus.

Required skills

• Analogue and digital electronics design, especially for robotics and motor‑control systems.
• Experience with communication buses: CAN, SpaceWire, Ethernet.
• Design and development of space‑qualified electronic boards.
• Knowledge of spacecraft power systems, instrumentation, and flight software.
• Embedded software development for commissioning and testing.
• Understanding of EMC/EMI/ESD constraints and mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with ECSS or MIL space standards.
