Senior DevOps Engineer – EU Institutions (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a financial risk‑management team supporting EU institutions in Luxembourg. The role focuses on operating, maintaining and enhancing complex financial systems while driving automation, data handling and system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide production support for treasury, derivatives or risk‑management platforms.
• Perform data provisioning, transformation and database administration (MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Implement DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Git‑based workflows, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Unix Shell and Python.
• Lead medium to large‑scale technical initiatives from definition to delivery.
• Support disaster‑recovery processes and develop reporting solutions (e.g., Splunk).

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting financial systems.
• Master’s degree in Information Science, Finance, Corporate Governance or related field (or 5 years additional experience).
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
