Senior Corporate M&A Lawyer

About the role

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Senior Corporate M&A Lawyer to join its market‑leading corporate M&A team. You will work on complex, often cross‑border transactions for major clients while benefiting from a collaborative culture that prioritises your development and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support mergers and acquisitions, private‑equity deals, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and broader corporate law mandates.
• Handle both domestic and cross‑border matters, contributing to high‑value, international projects.
• Take ownership of files, including drafting, negotiating and coordinating all transaction stages.
• Assist with corporate (pre‑)litigation when required.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas and jurisdictions to deliver integrated commercial solutions.
• Participate in ongoing legal and soft‑skills training to sharpen expertise.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of corporate/M&A experience in a law firm.
• Strong academic background with a law degree (distinction preferred); an LL.M. from a US or UK university is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, German and French.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and outstanding client service.
• Valid Luxembourg work permit is required.
