Relationship Manager, Middle East (Luxembourg)

About the role

Deutsche Bank is looking for a Relationship Manager for the Middle East, based in Luxembourg. The role works with the Wealth Management Senior Lead to meet agreed sales and revenue targets, building client relationships and generating sales opportunities. It is a senior position requiring strong investment acumen and a solid network of clients in the target coverage market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain HNW/UHNW relationships and increase wallet share and assets under management.
• Create net new assets and drive revenue on the respective books in a scalable and efficient way.
• Balance client relationships, prospecting, investment growth, compliance and personal development, and plan and manage time and budget.
• Recommend investment products suited to each client's objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile and preferences, and review portfolios periodically.
• Partner with investment managers to cover clients, discuss financial goals, analyse market conditions and recommend asset allocation.
• Act as Accountable Client Owner for AML aspects, including KYC and account behaviour.
• Maintain relationships with management teams and inform them of matters needing supervisory attention.
• Work with coverage, product and support functions, support the business growth strategy and take part in client events and marketing activities.

Required profile

• Masters degree, preferably in Finance; CFA or MBA desirable.
• At least 10-12 years of industry experience.
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
• Solid network of clients in the target coverage market and good understanding of the governing regulatory framework.
