Registered Nurse for Epidemiological Surveys (Full‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé is seeking a Registered Nurse (Bachelor‑level) to conduct epidemiological field surveys in environmental health for its Medical Expertise and Data Intelligence service. This full‑time position (40 h/week) is a two‑year fixed‑term contract starting 1 April 2025 and participates in the EU‑funded PARC programme.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute epidemiological surveys on environmental and occupational health topics.
• Collect, handle, and transport biological and environmental samples in the field.
• Enter and validate survey data in the MEDI database.
• Collaborate with European partners and national stakeholders within the PARC framework.
• Support laboratory analysis of collected samples as required.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Infirmier Diplômé) with a Bachelor degree.
• Eligibility to practice nursing in Luxembourg.
• Interest in public health, environmental health, or epidemiology.

Required skills

• Epidemiological survey methodology.
• Field data collection and sample handling.
• Knowledge of environmental and occupational health concepts.
