Quality & Technical Coordinator (PhD) – Full‑time

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé (LNS) seeks a qualified professional to split their time between quality coordination (40%) and technical coordination (60%) within the Department of Health Protection. This full‑time permanent position supports the laboratory’s mission to protect public health through environmental and occupational health monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for chemical and microbiological analyses.
• Coordinate quality management systems, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead technical projects related to human biomarker measurement in biological samples.
• Collaborate with the ENVIROH and MEDI services to ensure methodological robustness.
• Provide expert advice to hospitals, ministries, and occupational medicine services.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., environmental health, toxicology, analytical chemistry).
• Experience in a clinical or public‑health laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance standards and accreditation processes.
• Ability to work autonomously and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Expertise in chemical and microbiological analytical techniques.
• Proficiency in handling human biological samples (blood, urine, hair).
