Project Support Technician – AI/ML & Data Management

About the role

The Project Support Technician will assist NSPA in managing complex projects, focusing on resource coordination, data analysis, and AI/ML implementation. The role combines project portfolio management with hands‑on technical work on data pipelines and visualisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage resources across multiple, complex projects and support project managers in day‑to‑day activities.
• Apply AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and scikit‑learn to project‑related data sets.
• Perform ETL processes, data wrangling and analysis of both structured and unstructured data.
• Create visualisations and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib or Seaborn.
• Develop scripts and queries in Python, R and SQL to support data‑driven decision making.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices, GDPR and data‑anonymisation requirements.

Required profile

• Complete secondary education plus at least five years of relevant experience, or equivalent higher education combined with appropriate experience.
• Proven background in resource management for complex projects and portfolio management.
• Experience supporting project management activities and understanding of technology life‑cycle management.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks and data processing tools.
