Process Engineer – 6-month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

This hands‑on position sits at the interface of R&D and engineering, developing, optimising and scaling novel materials manufacturing processes. You will help translate laboratory breakthroughs into robust pilot‑scale production and support commercial deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise scalable processes for laboratory and pilot‑scale manufacturing.
• Specify, install, commission and validate new process equipment.
• Support pilot‑plant operations, troubleshoot equipment and quality issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare technical documentation such as SOPs, process flow diagrams, commissioning plans and risk assessments.
• Collaborate closely with scientists, engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure successful technology transfer.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical, Process, Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience developing and scaling industrial processes in chemical, materials or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to translate laboratory processes into pilot or manufacturing settings.
• Strong understanding of equipment integration, commissioning and process troubleshooting.
