Private Equity Fund Controller – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fund Controller to join the Operations team of a leading private equity management firm in Luxembourg. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract supporting buy‑out investment vehicles across Europe and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for investment teams, handling requests promptly.
• Review fund and SPV valuations (NAV) and prepare annual financial statements.
• Manage capital call and distribution notices, cash‑management forecasts, and expense analyses.
• Support year‑end audit planning, liaise with external administrators and auditors.
• Prepare fund performance analyses (IRR/CoC) and maintain carried‑interest databases.
• Oversee tax and VAT return processes and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.
• Review quarterly investor reports, capital account statements, and respond to investor queries.
• Participate in transversal projects such as new vehicle launches and database implementations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in asset management or private‑equity investment management.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field from an engineering or business school.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg compliance, tax regulations and investment‑vehicle structures.
• Solid understanding of Lux GAAP/IFRS and PE valuation standards (IPEV).
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable and able to work both independently and within a team.
