Portfolio Controller – Private Equity (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are looking for a Portfolio Controller to join an independent, internationally active investment management firm based in Luxembourg. The role supports fund accounting, financial reporting, and investor communication for a multi‑billion‑euro portfolio focused on technology‑enabled growth and infrastructure assets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and LuxGAAP.
• Assist with NAV calculations, fund reconciliations, and monitoring of cash flows, capital calls, and distributions.
• Track financial performance of portfolio companies and maintain fund‑level and asset‑level data.
• Compile investor reporting packages, including capital account statements and performance summaries.
• Support transaction execution, capital calls, drawdowns, and distribution workflows.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, and auditors, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and enhance financial models, templates, and reporting tools, contributing to process optimisation.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in fund administration or a Big Four audit environment.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting under LuxGAAP and IFRS.
• Good knowledge of the private‑equity or alternative‑investments industry.
• High analytical ability, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership while contributing to a small team.
