Permanent Control & Risk Officer – Financial Services

About the role

As a Permanent Control & Risk Officer you will join Antea Advisory’s consulting team to help financial institutions strengthen their permanent control frameworks and meet regulatory and governance requirements. You will work on high‑value projects across banking, asset management, insurance and other financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve permanent control frameworks, including governance, risk mapping, control plans and outsourcing oversight.
• Execute first‑ and second‑level controls, perform control testing, and document findings and remediation actions.
• Support operational risk identification, assessment, monitoring and the enhancement of risk and control matrices.
• Collect, analyse and follow up on operational incidents and risk events, monitor remediation plans and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare management reports, key risk indicators and support governance committee preparation.
• Act as a trusted partner for business teams, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to promote a strong risk and control culture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management, internal control, operational risk, internal audit or a similar discipline.
• Strong analytical capabilities and stakeholder management skills.
