Medical Operation Regulator – Shift Work (Luxembourg)

About the role

In this pivotal position you will coordinate worldwide medical operations for Luxembourg Air Rescue Group, ensuring safe and efficient repatriations, air‑ambulance missions and secondary transfers. The role works in a dynamic, shift‑based environment (early and late shifts, no night work) and serves as the main point of contact for members, families, hospitals and medical crews.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full repatriation process for LAR members, from request handling to operational organisation.
• Perform medical clearance for European Air Ambulance missions.
• Organise and monitor secondary missions such as hospital‑to‑hospital transfers and organ transports.
• Book ground ambulances for both fixed‑wing and rotary‑wing missions.
• Handle administrative tasks related to medical aspects of mission planning.
• Support broader operational activities, including flight bookings and cross‑departmental coordination.

Required profile

• Degree in a medical field (registered nurse or equivalent).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a clinical or medical‑operations environment.
• Fluent English and proficiency in at least two of Luxembourgish, French, German.
• Strong organisational rigour, discretion and ability to work in a multifunctional role.
• Team‑spirit, good communication and professional attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard IT tools, especially MS Office.
