Medical Operation Regulator – Shift Work

About the role

This full‑time position supports Luxembourg Air Rescue’s Medical Department by coordinating worldwide medical missions. Working on early and late shifts, you will ensure safe, efficient operations without night work, contributing directly to life‑saving air‑ambulance services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage repatriation requests for LAR members, handling follow‑up and full operational organisation.
• Perform medical clearance for European Air Ambulance (EAA) missions.
• Organise and monitor secondary missions such as hospital‑to‑hospital transfers and organ transports.
• Book ground ambulances for both fixed‑wing and rotary‑wing missions.
• Serve as primary contact for members, families, hospitals and medical crews.
• Handle administrative tasks linked to medical aspects of mission planning.
• Support broader operational activities, including flight bookings and cross‑departmental coordination.

Required profile

• Degree in a medical field (registered nurse or equivalent).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a clinical or medical‑operations environment.
• Fluent English and proficiency in at least two of Luxembourgish, French, German.
• Additional languages are a plus.
• Proficiency with standard IT tools, especially MS Office.
