Medical Doctor (Pathologist) – Full‑time Permanent Position

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor specialized in Pathology to join its Pathological Anatomy service at the National Centre of Pathology. This full‑time permanent position offers the opportunity to work in an international, multicultural laboratory environment focused on public health and research.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret anatomopathology files.
• Plan, prioritize and design experiments in collaboration with specialists and scientists.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy and safety of all pathology results.
• Participate in multidisciplinary consultation meetings (tumor boards) and national/international working groups.

Required profile

• Recognised diploma in specialised medicine.
• Authorization to practise in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
• Minimum two years of multidisciplinary experience in pathological diagnosis.
• Interest in expanding diagnostic spectrum (e.g., molecular, nephro, dermato, haemo, breast pathology).
• Fluent in English and French; German or Luxembourgish is a plus.
• Strong organisational, confidentiality and teamwork abilities.
