Mechanical Designer – Molds (Product Development)

About the role

Join Husky Technologies' Development‑Engineering team in Luxembourg and contribute to the design of beverage‑packaging tooling. After an initial training period at the European headquarters, you will work on high‑performance, reliable and cost‑effective mold designs.

Key responsibilities

• Iterate design concepts and produce a design selection matrix based on the project scope.
• Execute detailed designs applying company standards and perform system‑level design with limited guidance.
• Create comprehensive design documents and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including engineering, manufacturing, testing and validation.
• Develop and maintain complex project plans, set milestones, generate timelines and communicate status effectively.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in a similar environment is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of CAD applications and ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis is a plus.
• Virtual simulation background is considered an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills.
