Legal Counsel – Corporate & Contract Law (International)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join a leading international group operating across more than 20 African countries. Reporting to the Deputy Legal Director, you will support the company’s corporate and contractual legal needs while contributing to strategic, cross‑border projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate legal follow‑up for a portfolio of entities.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements, including partnership, licensing, intragroup and non‑disclosure agreements.
• Prepare day‑to‑day corporate documentation and maintain contract templates.
• Conduct legal research, regulatory monitoring and analysis.
• Handle multi‑jurisdictional matters, especially across African markets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Law or Corporate Law.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience, including mandatory experience in a law firm.
• Strong expertise in corporate law and contract law.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
