Knowledge Lawyer

About the role

The Knowledge Lawyer will join Clifford Chance’s Debt Finance team, supporting the firm’s extensive debt finance practice across leveraged finance, asset finance, real estate, infrastructure, fund finance, corporate lending, syndicated facilities and private credit.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on complex legal topics and provide tailored legal support to the Debt Finance team.
• Draft legal memoranda, practice notes, client briefings and contribute to internal and external publications.
• Prepare client communications that showcase Clifford Chance’s expertise.
• Monitor legal developments and disseminate relevant knowledge to colleagues.
• Contribute to junior lawyer education and organise internal meetings and conferences for knowledge sharing.
• Maintain and enhance the template library, identify gaps, create new templates and update the knowledge platform.

Required profile

• Legal professional with experience in debt finance matters.
• Ability to conduct in‑depth legal research and produce clear, pragmatic advice.
• Strong written communication skills for drafting memoranda and client briefings.
• Interest in knowledge management and supporting junior lawyers.
