Junior Tax Advisor or Lawyer

About the role

Arendt & Medernach is seeking a Junior Tax Advisor or Lawyer to join its Luxembourg office. You will work closely with an international team to support domestic and foreign clients on a wide range of tax-related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients on all tax-related issues and provide tailored advice.
• Develop tax‑efficient structures for corporate and finance transactions.
• Draft and review tax documents, agreements and opinions.
• Conduct legal and tax research to support client projects.
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls.
• Follow up on client requests under the supervision of a partner.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives within the team.

Required profile

• University degree in law or economics (e.g., German State exams, Master 2 from Belgium, Luxembourg or France), preferably with a postgraduate degree in tax law.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken; German is a plus.
• Initial experience in tax practice gained through internships at international law firms.
• Solution‑driven, reliable, highly organized and a strong team player.
• Creative interest in all tax aspects and ability to work independently.
