Junior IT Corporate Support Officer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Corporate Support Officer to join Luxtrust’s IT Operations team in Capellen, Luxembourg. Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will provide first‑line assistance to internal users, ensuring their hardware and software run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Respond to help‑desk tickets, emails and user queries promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot basic system and application problems.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior IT staff when required.
• Document issues and solutions accurately.
• Support routine system updates and maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• 1‑2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Understanding of fundamental networking concepts.
• Experience with desktop, laptop, printer and mobile device setup and maintenance.
• Familiarity with common office software and tools.
