Junior IT Corporate Support Officer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated Junior IT Corporate Support Officer to join its IT Operations team in Capellen, Luxembourg. You will provide first‑level technical assistance to internal users and help maintain a reliable IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to help‑desk tickets, emails and user queries promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot basic system and application problems.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions.
• Support routine system updates and maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field preferred (not mandatory).
• 1‑2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Patience, empathy and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing procedures.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Understanding of basic networking concepts.
• Experience configuring and supporting hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• User account management, including password resets and permission settings.
