Junior Information Security Officer

About the role

Join the Information Security team within Risk and Quality, an internal service team that operates as the second line of defence. As a Junior Information Security Officer you will support governance, risk and compliance activities, helping to maintain a strong security posture across the firm and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse vulnerability reports, contextualise risks and coordinate remediation with IT specialists.
• Support the Data Loss Prevention programme by defining risk scenarios and recommending remediation measures.
• Assess the security posture of service providers and identify related risks.
• Respond to client due‑diligence requests with clear information on security measures.
• Contribute to security‑hygiene activities, technical investigations and incident handling.
• Support audits and the Information Security Management System by collecting evidence and following up on recommendations.
• Act as a security contributor on local and international projects, communicating with IT, Risk, Quality, clients and PwC Network stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with a specialization in information security.
• Professional proficiency in English for written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of vulnerability management, Windows and Linux environments, and cloud security in Azure and AWS.
• Ability to analyse risks and communicate security information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
