Junior DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure Automation)

About the role

INCERT, a Luxembourg public agency specialized in cryptography, PKI, eTravel, biometrics and AI, is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join its IT team. You will help design, automate and maintain the cloud infrastructure that supports critical national services.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation for Kubernetes, OpenShift and other platforms.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and apply optimisations.
• Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and put preventive measures in place.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK Stack.
• Design, deploy and manage scalable, secure AWS cloud solutions.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional DevOps experience.
• Strong understanding of distributed architectures, network protocols and system security.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring, logging and configuration‑management tools.
• Fluent in English and/or French.
• Detail‑oriented, autonomous, good documentation skills and interest in cybersecurity.
