IT Test Manager – Core Banking (Luxembourg)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Test Manager to lead testing activities for a core banking system and its satellite applications for a client based in Luxembourg. The role combines strategic planning, hands‑on execution and continuous improvement of testing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Define test strategy, scope, entry/exit criteria and risk‑based prioritisation.
- Prepare and maintain test plans aligned with releases, upgrades and sprints.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT and regression cycles, manage test environments and data.
- Monitor execution, track defects and provide status, risk assessments and go/no‑go recommendations.
- Produce regular test reports for project and line management.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and quality gates.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 9 years of test management experience, preferably in financial services.
- ISTQB certification (minimum foundation level).
- Proven experience with large‑scale platform migrations and core banking systems.

What we offer
- Permanent or freelance contract
- Hybrid work mode with up to 2 remote days per week
- Annual gross salary €90,000 – €110,000, based on experience
