IT Support Officer – Level 1 & 2 (Banking sector)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Officer to join a confidential banking organisation on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will provide first‑ and second‑level assistance to internal users, both on‑site and remotely, ensuring a smooth and high‑quality IT experience across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver L1 and L2 support for hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices) and software issues on Windows platforms.
• Manage incident and request tickets in Jira, monitor SLA compliance and follow‑up.
• Administer Active Directory – create and maintain user accounts, groups and access rights.
• Support Microsoft 365 services, with a focus on Exchange Online and Teams.
• Handle user onboarding, including account provisioning, equipment allocation and application setup.
• Maintain the IT asset inventory, track lifecycle stages and assist with documentation and backup processes.

Required profile

• Strong service mindset with genuine empathy for end‑users.
• Clear, professional communication in English (mandatory); additional Portuguese or French is a plus.
• Ownership, reliability and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to share knowledge.
• Attention to detail and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
